What is Insight Meditation?
Insight Meditation is a meditation method that is over 2,5oo years old. In this practice, we develop the capacity to calm the mind through focusing on the breath. Then, with the mind calmed, we look deeply at our experience in each moment, seeing our lives with greater clarity. With this clarity, we begin to undo some of the mental habits that cause us discomfort and strife in our daily lives, leading to greater freedom and increased ability to respond to life’s challenges.
