Public talk at MU on Technological Advances in Spiritual Experiences

Brick Johnstone, PhD invites YOU to a presentation on Monday, November 2 at 4:30; Allen Auditorium in the MU Arts and Sciences building (north of the student union and south of Ellis library.  Dr. Wesley Wildman, a Professor of Philosophy, Theology, and Ethics at Boston University will present a talk on technological advances in spiritual experiences (transcranial stimulation, pharmaceuticals).

Wesley Wildman, Professor of Philosophy, Theology, and Ethics at Boston University (http://www.bu.edu/sth/profile/wesley-j-wildman/), will visit MU and give a public lecture on recent advances in spiritual technology. Dr. Wildman is an internationally recognized scholar. He is a co-founder of the Institute for the Bio-Cultural Study of Religion a research institute dedicated to the scientific study of religion, founding co-editor of the journal Religion, Brain, & Behavior, and a highly accomplished researcher in the field of religion, spirituality, and neuroscience who has published many highly regarded academic books and articles.
